At Mercy Health, we offer a compassionate, professional, faith-based setting. Mercy Health Grand Rapids is steadfast in our commitment to fulfilling our mission to improve the health of the communities we serve. We view our work as a calling to a higher purpose. Our principles include building trusting relationships among colleagues and physicians, and creating a healing environment for all we serve, so residents and fellows will be inspired to serve, find meaning and purpose in their work, and are nurtured to continue to provide compassionate care.
As a leading teaching hospital for over 100 years, and with renowned clinical leadership in oncology, cardiology, orthopedics and neurology, Mercy Health has been recognized as among the best hospitals in southwest Michigan by U.S. News and World Report. We have also been named to the list of "West Michigan's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" by the Michigan Business and Professional Association for 10 years in a row.
Currently, Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners (GRMEP) provides GME and HR Support Services for our graduate medical education programs. Additional support and services available to our residents, fellows and faculty through GRMEP include educational training through skills labs and simulation, certification courses, curriculum development, continuing medical education (CME), research and scholarly activity support, and scheduling services for visiting learners.
