Welcome to the Mercy Health Grand Rapids Medical Education website

Since 1893, when its first 15-bed hospital opened in Grand Rapids, Mercy Health Grand Rapids has been working to improve the health of the community.

Today, the Mercy Health Saint Mary’s Campus is an integrated health care network committed to providing health care that is more complete and personally satisfying by offering the latest technology and most highly skilled staff in a patient-centered environment. The campus encompasses more than 2,500 employees; a 344-bed acute hospital in downtown Grand Rapids. In addition, Mercy Health Grand Rapids includes:

  • The Mercy Health Wege Center for Health and Learning, home for the Residency Program Outpatient Clinics
  • The Mercy Health Lacks Cancer Center
  • The Mercy Health Hauenstein Neuroscience Center
